My Background and Calling |
||
My life, my work and my ministry are centered in my faith in Father God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I am completely committed to my Christian faith. My work has evolved over the years. Between 1985 and 2006 I provided counseling services using psychological principles/knowledge, counselor training, and the healing resources that God has made available to us through his Son, Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit. In January of 2000 the Lord called me to begin writing. Between 2000 and 2006 I transitioned from being a professional counselor to being a full time writer. I no longer provide counseling services. As one of my clients once told me, "Sybil, you have to write what you know and what the Lord has shown you so that you can share it with the masses rather than just one person at a time through counseling." Those words have become a reality. God has gifted me to be able to write, speak and teach. He has laid a passion on my heart to share what he's taught me about how the Holy Spirit empowers Christians to bring about the miracles of Jesus Christ to bear proof to who he is in this skeptical era. My great passion now is to enable as many people as possible to do the works of Jesus Christ. To this end I am providing resources for Christians of all denominations who feel this calling on their lives. At this time I consider myself retired from counseling and teaching ministries. I spend my days invested in my art work, waiting for the Lord to renew my strength and prepare for His future work. |
